Attention has now shifted to the way certain players performed in key moments, with fans accusing some of them of not committing fully into tackles during the game.
Ahead of the upcoming Portsmouth match, pressure is increasing on manager Gary Rowett to make changes to the starting lineup.
Two supporters were seen giving their reactions after the match, expressing anger and disappointment over the performance.
Older fan: “Well, I think that was terrible. We’ve just come out and seen results elsewhere go against us. Leicester are in a bad position now. We are running out of games and we lost embarrassingly today. We deserved to lose.”
Younger fan: “We had a few chances in the first half but it was all slow passing football. The management today was weak. Nothing changed during the game and it felt like there was no real reaction.”
Older fan: “I don’t understand the substitutions. Some decisions made no sense at all. We had players on the bench who could have helped but they were not used properly. It felt like we just accepted the defeat.”
Younger fan: “Portsmouth have picked up points and we are now in real trouble. If we don’t get a result in the next game, it could be over for us.”
Older fan: “I honestly feel like we are going down. There is no fight in some of these performances and I have never felt this disappointed walking away from a game.”
Younger fan: “They are just going through the motions. It looks like there is no urgency. Even when we concede, there is no reaction. It is not good enough at all.”
While no official report has confirmed individual blame, supporters have criticised several players for their defensive effort and lack of aggression in challenges.
Supporters claim some of these players were hesitant in 50/50 situations and did not fully com
mit to tackles when it mattered most.
One fan said: “You cannot be on the pitch and pulling out of tackles. At this level, that is not acceptable.”
The defeat has also increased pressure on Rowett, with fans questioning his game management and substitutions during the match.
One supporter said: “The changes made during the game did not help. It felt like there was no plan to turn things around.”
Another added: “We had options on the bench but they were ignored. That is frustrating when the team is struggling.”
Leicester now face a very important match against Portsmouth, with fans describing it as a must-win game.
Supporters are demanding changes in both attitude and selection, insisting that only players who show commitment and fight should start.
As one fan put it: “If you are not willing to tackle and fight for the badge, you should not be on the pitch.”
