Leicester City star has reportedly been offered to Turkish giants Galatasaray amid uncertainty over Mauro Icardi’s future.
Icardi joined Galatasaray from Paris Saint-Germain in 2023 for €10m after a loan spell in which he scored 22 league goals in 1,888 minutes.

He helped the club win the 2023/24 Turkish Super Lig title with 25 goals. However, last season he managed only 14 appearances after suffering a season-ending ACL injury in November against Tottenham in a Europa League match.
Galatasaray captain Icardi, who turned 33 last month, has seen his role diminish following the arrival of €75m striker Victor Osimhen. With Icardi’s contract expiring this summer, the club is exploring potential replacements.
Daka, who joined Leicester from Red Bull Salzburg in 2021, has largely played second fiddle to Jordan Ayew in the Championship since relegation.
His contract also expires this summer, making him a potential target for Galatasaray. Daka has started seven of the last nine fixtures, but his future remains uncertain.

It remains to be seen whether Galatasaray will extend Icardi’s contract, pursue Daka, or choose another option. Leicester’s focus will continue to be avoiding relegation.
