DISASTER- Fans Furious as Leicester City Star Speaks Out After Humiliating Draw Leaves Club In Danger Zone

Patson Daka spoke about Leicester City’s resilience and focus after our 1–1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough Stadium on Easter Monday.

The result means the Foxes remain inside the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone, with crucial points still needed in the run‑in.

Leicester fell behind early when Jerry Yates scored in the 2nd minute, leaving the visitors with lots of work to do against a determined Wednesday side.

But with relegation pressure mounting, Daka’s fellow substitute Jordan Ayew came off the bench to score a late equaliser in the 84th minute, earning Leicester an important point.

“It was a difficult match from the start,” Daka said after the final whistle. “We conceded very early, but we had to stay calm and keep pushing until the end. Getting a point wasn’t perfect, but it’s something we take and build on.”

Daka — who impressed again with his work rate and involvement across the front line — stressed that the squad’s mentality remains the key to fighting through this tough season.

“Every game now is massive for us,” he added. “There’s no time to be down after difficult moments — we must stick together and focus on the next fixture. We came here to fight, and we showed that until the final whistle.”

Despite dominating possession and ending the match with a significantly higher number of shots, Leicester couldn’t find a winner after Ayew’s equaliser, leaving the club still in the bottom three with key matches ahead.

With a sold‑out away support travelling to South Yorkshire, Patson also made a point of thanking the fans:

“They never stop believing in us. We feel their energy and do everything to give them performances to be proud of.”

Leicester now turn attention quickly to their next Sky Bet Championship fixture, knowing that the fight for survival continues with every remaining game crucial.
