Newcastle United are reportedly closing in on their first signing of the summer after French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen agreed in principle to join the Magpies.

During the campaign, he conceded 35 goals in 34 league appearances while keeping 15 clean sheets, statistics that have attracted attention from several clubs across Europe.
