Roy Keane Went Brutal On 21k/w Leicester Superstar After His Disastrous Performance Against Bromley

Leicester City delivered a statement performance on Tuesday night, thrashing Bromley 4-0 to secure back-to-back victories and move closer to the League One play-off places.

Russell Martin’s side were in complete control during the first half, scoring three times through Will Alves, John Lundstram and Luke Thomas before Riis added a fourth after the break to complete a comfortable victory.

The result lifted Leicester to 10th in the table, just three points off the play-off places, while also giving Martin’s men their third clean sheet of the season.

However, while the Foxes had plenty to celebrate after an impressive display at Hayes Lane, Emil Riis Jakobsen has come under scrutiny following his performance, with Roy Keane reportedly expressing his frustration over the Leicester striker.

Despite the convincing scoreline, Keane’s criticism of Riis has added another talking point for Leicester supporters, particularly with the club preparing for their upcoming clash against Luton.

Riis found the net to round off the victory, but the reaction to his overall performance could put the striker under pressure to deliver more in the games ahead.

Martin, meanwhile, was pleased with the team’s progress and praised his players for finding the right balance between aggression and composure.

“I’m really proud of the players and the performance,” he said.

“I thought we were really aggressive, but we had a real balance of being really aggressive, but really composed.”

The Leicester manager also admitted that he was frustrated by a brief spell of complacency before half-time, insisting that his players still had areas to improve despite the emphatic win.

“I felt we got a little bit complacent, took too many touches, but then the lads got straight back on it in the second half and we were fantastic.”
