The Toffees have been linked with the Inter Milan star over the last few months as David Moyes looks to strengthen his squad. After heartbreak in the European football race, the Scot will undoubtedly hope to avoid a repeat next season.
The potential arrival of Henrique to L3 has been further boosted by recent developments out of Italy. Inter, fresh off a Serie A title win, are now reportedly open to offers for the Brazilian winger.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are “happy to sell” Henrique this summer, with the club willing to sanction a departure for the right price.
The Serie A champions are believed to be seeking a fee in the region of £17.3 million to £25.9 million.
Everton are not alone in their interest, however, with Bournemouth also monitoring the situation and previously registering interest during the winter window.
If David Moyes wants to land his target, Everton may need to act quickly to avoid being beaten to his signature.
Either way, Henrique’s future at Inter appears increasingly uncertain, and Everton now have a real opportunity to make their move.
