🚨 BREAKING: Newcastle Star Makes SHOCK Manchester United Transfer Request After HUGE Bombshell Emerges!

Newcastle United defender Lewis Hall still wants to force through a move to Manchester United despite being told he will not be sold this summer.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has expressed interest in bringing the left-back to Old Trafford to provide cover and competition for Luke Shaw.

Shaw enjoyed one of his best seasons last term, featuring in all 38 of Manchester United’s Premier League games. However, United are reportedly wary about his workload with Champions League football on the horizon.

Manchester United have already made an approach to Newcastle for Hall, who has developed into one of the Premier League’s best left-backs over the past two seasons.

Newcastle, however, have rebuffed the approach and made it clear that Hall is not for sale.

The Magpies have already lost several important figures this summer, including manager Eddie Howe, midfielders Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali, and winger Anthony Gordon.

Unwilling to lose another integral first-team player, Newcastle have informed Manchester United that Hall will remain at St James’ Park.

However, according to reports, Hall remains keen on leaving Newcastle and has made it clear that he wants to join Manchester United.

The 21-year-old reportedly felt that Howe’s management affected his chances of making England’s World Cup squad. Despite the change in the dugout, with Matthias Jaissle now in charge at Newcastle, Hall is still said to be considering an exit.

Newcastle remain in a strong negotiating position because Hall is contracted to the club until 2029. However, concerns have reportedly emerged among some players regarding the club’s direction following a difficult season.

The Magpies finished 12th in the Premier League last season after previously qualifying for the Champions League, while several key players have now departed.

Former Newcastle midfielder Jermaine Jenas has also backed Hall to make the move to Manchester United.

“I think it’s a great move for him, I really do,” Jenas said.

“He’s had a fantastic couple of years at Newcastle. His development year-in, year-out seems to be getting better and better.

“For a club like Manchester United to come in for him is a huge step in the right direction. He’s consistent week-in, week-out, but it would also be a big loss for Newcastle.”

For now, Newcastle appear determined to keep Hall, but Manchester United’s interest and the player’s reported desire to move could make this one of the transfer stories to watch before the summer window closes.
