The Spanish champions are said to have proposed a fee of around €15 million, significantly below Manchester United’s reported €30 million valuation.

Further reports suggest Barcelona have explored alternative structures, including a season-long loan with a conditional obligation to buy, but Manchester United are insisting on a permanent €30 million deal. With negotiations proving difficult, uncertainty continues to surround Rashford’s future at Camp Nou.

That situation has reportedly alerted Newcastle United, who are monitoring developments closely. Following Anthony Gordon’s departure, the Magpies are understood to be exploring attacking reinforcements and view Rashford as a potential marquee signing capable of adding goals, creativity and Premier League experience to Howe’s squad.
