Leicester City is having a season to forget. Between financial problems, poor performances on the pitch, and the looming threat of relegation to League One, the club is in disarray. They’re hoping to steady the ship, which means a major revamp is expected for next season.

James went down about an hour into the game following a tackle, and reports suggest it could be an Achilles injury. Wales manager Craig Bellamy didn’t comment on the injury after the match, leaving fans worried about the severity.

If James is out, it would be a huge blow for Leicester’s survival chances in the Championship this season under Gary Rowett. Rowett, who took over in February, has overseen seven games, winning just one and drawing four.

Leicester currently sits 21st in the table, just one point above the relegation zone, with seven games left to play.

James has been the standout performer this season, scoring ten goals and assisting four more, making him the club’s top scorer. Losing him for any of the remaining games would be a massive setback.

On a brighter note, Harry Souttar and Jannik Vestergaard are reportedly close to returning, with Vestergaard and Aaron Ramsey possibly available for the next game against Preston North End on April 3rd.
