So why were fans frustrated?
Very few Leicester players have spoken publicly about the relegation, especially on social media. In fact, Begović was the first current player to come out and address the situation.
Despite not making a huge impact on the pitch, fans have shown some respect for him simply for being honest. He admitted that the players, staff, and the club as a whole failed this season. He also said the fans deserved much better.

Begović’s message may not fix anything, but it at least showed some level of accountability. While his performances this season have been average, his willingness to speak up stands out in a squad that has mostly stayed quiet during one of the club’s worst moments.
