Toby Alderweireld believes Romelu Lukaku could still make an impact in the Premier League and has named Everton as a potential destination.
Romelu Lukaku needs to go “somewhere he is loved” like Everton, according to his former international teammate Toby Alderweireld.

Lukaku is facing an uncertain future after a difficult spell in Serie A with Napoli, where injuries limited his impact. The 33-year-old scored just once in five league appearances during a troubled season.
His next move remains unclear, especially after Napoli parted ways with manager Antonio Conte. For now, Lukaku is focused on the World Cup as he tries to help Belgium progress.
Ahead of the tournament, Alderweireld suggested Lukaku would benefit from joining a club where he feels appreciated, even mentioning a possible return to Everton.
Alderweireld said: “I don’t know what Romelu Lukaku wants to do, but he can come back to the Premier League, for sure. I think he needs to go somewhere where he’s loved. That’s very important.
He wants to go to Anderlecht at the end of his career, but could he join Everton, Aston Villa or Newcastle? Yeah, why not? I think he can still do a lot of damage in the Premier League.”
Lukaku scored 87 goals in 166 appearances during a four-season spell at Everton before moving to Manchester United.
Everton manager David Moyes is open to signing a striker this summer if the right player becomes available, though the club are cautious about injury-prone options.
