There was belief that Rowett could have helped Leicester secure the results needed to avoid relegation. With players like Jannik Vestergaard and Jordan James available during his tenure, he might have earned more points. Without them, his impact was limited.
Although Rowett may have interest in the job long-term, it is unlikely he will be appointed permanently. His approach and in-game decisions have not met expectations.

Leicester must now resolve the situation surrounding Harry Winks. The club should explore options such as a permanent transfer or a loan move. A wage-sharing agreement could also be considered, allowing another club to take on part of his salary. A loan deal appears to be the most realistic solution.
Winks is not expected to be included in the squad for Saturday’s match. At the same time, Gary Rowett is also likely to leave after the game. He was appointed to keep Leicester in the Championship but failed to achieve that objective. His relationship with the fanbase has also been far from ideal.
