Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has stepped down from his role as CEO, though he will continue to serve as chairman, maintaining a guiding presence at the club.

In his place, finance director Kevin Davies has been appointed as the new CEO of the East Midlands side, a move that signals a shift toward tighter financial control and stability.

Davies is widely credited with helping the club avoid a harsher punishment earlier this year, when Leicester were handed a six-point deduction for breaching financial regulations.

His work behind the scenes is believed to have limited the damage, and his promotion suggests the club is placing its trust in his ability to steady things during a difficult period.

At the same time, Jon Rudkin has been elevated to the role of chief football officer. The decision is unlikely to sit well with many supporters.

Rudkin has faced heavy criticism in recent seasons, with fans pointing to questionable recruitment choices and contract decisions that have contributed to the club’s current financial and sporting struggles.

Despite the backlash, the club has chosen to strengthen his influence rather than move in a different direction.

Newly appointed sporting director James McCarron will report directly to Rudkin, creating a structure that places significant responsibility on their working relationship. How well they align could prove crucial in shaping Leicester’s immediate future.

These changes come against the backdrop of growing unrest among supporters, highlighted by protests during the 2-0 home defeat to Norwich. On the pitch, results have done little to ease the tension.

Following the restructuring, Leicester managed just one win, alongside a loss and two draws, before the international break.

With the threat of relegation looming, Leicester now find themselves at a critical point. The hope within the club is that this new leadership structure can bring clarity, smarter decisions, and perhaps a few clever additions to the squad.

Whether through free signings or internal adjustments, the priority is clear stabilize the team and find a way out of an increasingly difficult situation.
