According to Sky Sport Switzerland, striker Ollie Watkins has “reached an agreement” on personal terms ahead of a potential move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, who reportedly want the England international to replace Karim Benzema this summer.
The deal, however, appears to be dependent on Al-Hilal resolving a contract situation involving Benzema. The veteran forward is reportedly seeking the remainder of his contract to be paid in full before agreeing to terminate it.
With that issue still unresolved, Al-Hilal have yet to make a formal offer to Aston Villa for Watkins. There is also no indication of what transfer fee Villa would demand.
It is worth noting that despite the claim that personal terms have been agreed, the report also states that Al-Hilal are monitoring “various” options and are not solely focused on Watkins.
Newcastle & Aston Villa target former Chelsea flop
Christopher Nkunku has reportedly attracted interest from Newcastle United and Aston Villa, according to Sport Witness.
Both Premier League clubs are said to have made enquiries about the French forward’s availability, while his current club AC Milan are reportedly prepared to let him leave.
The 28-year-old is believed to have a minimum asking price of €35 million (£30m).
Newcastle and Villa are not the only clubs reportedly interested in Nkunku. Borussia Dortmund, AS Roma and his former club RB Leipzig are also said to be keen on signing him.
Nkunku scored eight goals in 35 appearances for AC Milan last season after previously struggling to establish himself at Chelsea.

According to report from Tuttosports, Newcastle United wants to get the deal done as soon as possible so that he will be ready to feature in the Premier League opener against Liverpool.
‘Movement’ on Ethan Nwaneri’s future
There has also been movement regarding the future of Arsenal teenager Ethan Nwaneri, according to Fabrizio Romano.
AC Milan have reportedly submitted a loan offer for the 19-year-old that includes a purchase option, although Arsenal are not accepting the proposal “at the moment.”
Galatasaray are also said to be interested, while unnamed Premier League clubs are reportedly expected to enter the race. There is also interest from Germany.
Nwaneri made just 11 appearances for Marseille during a difficult loan spell last season, and Arsenal have yet to make a final decision over his future.
A loan move appears increasingly likely, although it remains unclear whether Arsenal would consider allowing the youngster to leave permanently.
The situation surrounding Myles Lewis-Skelly also appears to be changing, with a departure now looking increasingly unlikely despite Arsenal’s efforts.
