Newcastle United have confirmed that Livramento has successfully undergone minor surgery after returning from World Cup duty with a calf injury.
Livramento had been named in Thomas Tuchel’s 26-man England squad for the World Cup but was forced to withdraw before the tournament began due to the injury.
The club has now confirmed that the procedure was successful and expects the 23-year-old to return during pre-season ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
