Everton, however, are under no pressure to sell. The forward only arrived at the club last summer for a fee in the region of £27 million and quickly became an important part of David Moyes’ squad, contributing goals and consistent performances throughout the campaign.
The 23-year-old also shared attacking responsibilities with Beto, who remained a useful option in the rotation and added valuable goals of his own. With interest also emerging in other attacking players at Goodison Park, Everton face a potentially difficult summer in terms of squad stability.
Italian clubs are also said to be monitoring Beto’s situation, while Iliman Ndiaye has attracted attention from Premier League rivals, including Manchester United, further increasing the pressure on Everton to retain their key squad members.
