Exciting news regarding the reunion are coming forward. Claudio Ranieri will be back at King Power to lead the team for this special event. To have him back in the Leicester dugout is just brilliant. Love to see the old master in this setting once again.
Robert Huth, Leo Ulloa and Wes Morgan have also been announced. Many of the players that featured in the Soccer 7 tournament a year ago could also be among the group. Danny Drinkwater, David Nugent, Martyn Waghorn, Danny Simpson, Lloyd Dyer and Marc Albrighton are all likely to attend.
The amount of tickets sold so far is still modest, but with the news of these players and Ranieri returning, hopes are high for a fantastic turnout. Christian Fuchs, Kasper Schmeichel and Jamie Vardy are also expected to be there.
Shinji Okazaki and Marcin Wasilewski are other names being mentioned. Ritchie De Laet, Jeffrey Schlupp and Paul Konchesky could also join the event, while Matty James may return to play his part. Kelechi Iheanacho, who is out of contract this summer, might attend as well. Esteban Cambiasso has also been mentioned as a possible returnee.
N’Golo Kanté and Riyad Mahrez are currently preparing for the World Cup, so there is little hope of seeing the two former Leicester stars at the event.
