🚨 SKY SPORTS BOMBSHELL: Newcastle’s HUGE Coca-Cola Deal EXPOSED as £200m Plan Takes Major Step Forward!

Newcastle United’s summer may have brought plenty of challenges on the pitch, but the club continues to make significant progress away from it, with another major commercial development now reportedly in the pipeline.

After Newcastle’s reported £190 million plans for a new world-class training base at Woolsington Hall and the recently announced £15 million training-kit sponsorship agreement with SumUp, the Magpies are now closing in on another potentially lucrative partnership.

This time, the focus is on STACK, Newcastle’s popular fan zone, which is expected to undergo a major commercial reboot ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

Coca-Cola lined up for STACK sponsorship

According to reports, global drinks giant Coca-Cola is being lined up to become the new sponsor of Newcastle United’s STACK fan zone.

The development comes after Saudi events company Sela ended its three-year naming-rights partnership with Newcastle this summer. Sela had previously been closely associated with the fan zone, which has become an important part of the club’s matchday and commercial operation.

With that partnership now coming to an end, Newcastle’s new chief commercial officer David Hopkinson has reportedly moved quickly to identify a major replacement.

The Telegraph reports that Coca-Cola are set to step into the vacant sponsorship position, with the proposed agreement expected to provide Newcastle with another multi-million-pound commercial boost.

Although the exact value of the Coca-Cola agreement has not been disclosed, the reported scale of the partnership underlines Newcastle’s determination to significantly increase its commercial revenues.

£200m annual target remains on track

The latest development is also significant because it forms part of a much bigger financial strategy being implemented at St James’ Park.

The Telegraph’s Luke Edwards reports that Hopkinson’s long-term plan to help Newcastle close the financial gap on the Premier League’s established ‘Big Six’ clubs by 2030 is progressing ahead of schedule.

New commercial agreements involving KNOX, SumUp and now potentially Coca-Cola have reportedly helped Newcastle move ahead of their original 2027 targets.

The club’s ambitious objective is to generate an additional £200 million per year in commercial revenue before the end of the decade.

That figure would represent a huge step forward for Newcastle and could provide the financial foundation needed to compete more consistently with England’s biggest clubs.

Training-ground partnerships are already believed to be generating an additional £11 million per year, demonstrating how Newcastle are attempting to maximise revenue streams beyond traditional shirt and stadium sponsorships.

And there could be even more commercial announcements on the horizon.

The Telegraph also reports that preliminary discussions have taken place with another major international company over a potential sponsorship agreement at St James’ Park.

Importantly, any such deal would reportedly not involve changing the name of Newcastle’s historic stadium.

Overall, the latest developments suggest that Newcastle’s long-term commercial strategy is gathering serious momentum. While supporters continue to focus heavily on transfers and squad-building, the club’s off-field growth could prove just as important.

With PIF and the Reuben family continuing to back the wider project, Newcastle appear determined to build a stronger financial platform capable of sustaining their ambitions for years to come.
