🚨BREAKING: Newcastle’s “NEW ISAK” Could NEVER Play for the Club Again After a SHOCK REVIVAL — Jaissle Decision Raises BIG Questions!

Newcastle United’s new era under Matthias Jaissle has already provided plenty of reasons for optimism, but one unexpected development could have a major impact on the future of a big-money signing.

The Magpies remain unbeaten after their opening three Premier League matches and have also progressed in the Carabao Cup. Despite losing several of their biggest stars during the summer, Newcastle’s recruitment team, led by technical director Ross Wilson, managed to bring in a number of exciting young players as part of a major rebuild.

But while the new arrivals are grabbing attention, one experienced attacker appears to be enjoying a revival that could completely change the situation for another player.

That player is Yoane Wissa.

The DR Congo international arrived at St James’ Park from Brentford for around £50m after establishing himself as one of the Premier League’s most consistent forwards. Across several seasons with the Bees, Wissa had developed a reputation for finding the net regularly and causing problems for defenders.

However, his first season on Tyneside was extremely difficult.

An injury delayed his Newcastle debut, while he eventually finished the Premier League campaign with just one goal and missed several major opportunities.

Things already look very different this season.

Wissa provided an assist in Newcastle’s opening-day draw with Liverpool before producing a brilliant finish against Tottenham Hotspur. His confidence appears to be returning at exactly the time Jaissle needs senior players to step up.

And that revival could have consequences elsewhere in the squad.

Newcastle have made youth a major part of their summer recruitment strategy, but Wissa’s resurgence gives Jaissle another reliable option through the middle. That could make it increasingly difficult for one particular former record signing to find his way back into the Newcastle plans.

The player who was once described as the club’s potential “new Isak” is now facing a very uncertain future.

Nick Woltemade arrived from Stuttgart for a club-record £69m after making an impressive start to life in England. His height, technical ability and unusual style immediately made him a fascinating prospect, with some analysts even comparing him to Alexander Isak.

But his form eventually faded.

Woltemade struggled to maintain the same attacking threat after his explosive beginning to the campaign, and his limited shooting numbers became a concern despite an impressive conversion rate.

Now, the German striker has joined Juventus on loan for the 2026/27 season.

That move could prove to be much more significant than simply a temporary switch.

If Woltemade impresses in Italy, Juventus could eventually consider making the move permanent. And with Wissa now showing signs of rediscovering his best form, Jaissle may have little reason to completely reshape his attack to accommodate a player who struggled to maintain consistency last season.

Woltemade still has an opportunity to prove Newcastle wrong.

But unless he produces something special in Turin, there is a growing possibility that the player once tipped to become the new Isak at St James’ Park may have already played his final game for Newcastle.

For Jaissle, Wissa’s revival could turn out to be one of the biggest reasons why.
