Leicester City supporters have endured a frustrating period, with the Foxes struggling to find the consistency needed to get their season back on track.
After the disappointment of relegation from the Premier League, fans were hoping for an immediate response, but the club’s struggles have continued to raise serious questions about the team’s direction and future.
With pressure mounting and supporters desperate to see their beloved club return to winning ways, attention has increasingly turned towards the manager, the players and the decisions being made behind the scenes.
However, Russell Martin has now added another talking point after making a blunt statement about Leicester City’s uncertain ownership situation.

The Leicester City manager was previously asked about the reports surrounding a potential takeover, with King Power reportedly exploring the possibility of selling the club. But Martin made it clear that the ownership situation was not his responsibility, insisting that his priority was improving the team’s performances on the pitch.
“I don’t know if the club is up for sale completely,” Martin said in September. “I don’t know when the deadline is. It’s not my job to know any of that really.”
Martin also defended the support he had received from owner Aiyawatt ‘Top’ Srivaddhanaprabha and the club’s hierarchy during the transfer window, pointing to the arrival of new players as evidence of their commitment to rebuilding the squad.
“He’s [the owner] still hugely invested in the club, otherwise we wouldn’t have signed 14 players and tried to rebuild the energy and team at this club that will hopefully bring success,” Martin added.
The Leicester boss insisted that his responsibility was to coach the team and make sure they improved on the pitch rather than become distracted by uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership.
“My job is to coach the team and make sure we’re better than we were last Saturday,” he concluded.
While Martin’s comments were specifically about the takeover situation, Leicester supporters will be hoping the manager can deliver the improvements they desperately want to see as the Foxes continue their push to get their season back on track.
