Leicester City Fans STUNNED as First-Team Star Breaks Silence After Burton Defeat With Words Nobody Saw Coming 😳

Leicester City defender Bade Aluko has delivered a blunt message after the Foxes suffered a frustrating 2-1 defeat to Burton Albion — and his comments could leave some fans questioning whether Leicester are being far too soft at the start of games.

The Foxes were already 2-0 down inside the opening 20 minutes, before Oliver Skipp was shown a straight red card and left Leicester fighting with 10 men for more than an hour. Wes Burns pulled one back before half-time, but Russell Martin’s side ultimately failed to complete the comeback.

The defeat leaves Leicester sitting 18th in League One with just one point, and Aluko has admitted that the team’s start was simply not good enough.

«“I just felt like the first 20 minutes wasn’t us,” Aluko said.»

The right-back, who made his first start of the season in place of the injured Jayden Joseph, insisted Leicester have the quality to compete — but warned that opponents are clearly targeting them physically.

And then came the comment that could spark a major debate among Leicester supporters.

«“Some teams think we’re soft, but that’s not the case.”»

Aluko believes Leicester must immediately change their approach in the opening stages of matches and stop allowing opponents to dictate the intensity.

According to the defender, the first 10–15 minutes are becoming a major problem, with both Notts County and Burton Albion managing to unsettle Leicester through aggressive starts.

Manager Russell Martin was also reportedly brutally honest with the players after the defeat, telling them they simply had to do better.

Now, with Ipswich away and MK Dons coming up in quick succession, Leicester have little time to dwell on the Burton disaster.
