Another Newcastle Midfielder Reportedly Offered To Saudi Clubs Amid Bruno Exit Rumours

This is being labelled as a transitional summer for Newcastle United, with a busy transfer window expected before the new season.

The Magpies have already signed three first-team players alongside several academy recruits, while big names such as Kieran Trippier, Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali have all departed for new clubs.

Speculation surrounding Bruno Guimarães continues to grow, while Nick Pope, Joe Willock and Jacob Murphy are also believed to be available for transfer.

Now, Saudi journalist Khalid Al-Zahrani of Hattrick has claimed on X that Joelinton is being offered to Saudi Pro League clubs.

Joelinton reportedly offered to five Saudi clubs

According to Al-Zahrani, Newcastle have presented Joelinton to several Saudi Pro League clubs through the league’s recruitment committee.

He wrote:

> “The committee in turn presented him to the clubs. Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr showed no interest, while Al-Ahli, Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadsiah are waiting.”



Newcastle fans will hope there’s no truth to the rumours

While the report remains unconfirmed, there are reasons why some may find it believable.

Joelinton will turn 30 before the new season begins, and sporting director Ross Wilson is reportedly aiming to reduce the average age of Newcastle’s squad. A move to the Saudi Pro League could also generate a significant transfer fee.

However, Joelinton remains one of Eddie Howe’s most important players and is hugely popular among Newcastle supporters. With uncertainty already surrounding Bruno Guimarães’ future, losing Joelinton as well would be a major blow.

For now, the claims should be treated as speculation, and many fans will be hoping there is no truth to the report. Newcastle supporters are certainly not ready to say goodbye to “Big Joe” just yet.
