Newcastle United Star Nears Exit as Club Reaches Agreement for First-Team Departure Amid Major Summer Shake-Up

Newcastle United are heading into a decisive 2026 summer transfer window marked by major squad changes, intense transfer battles, and growing uncertainty around several key first-team players.

While the club continues to insist that its core stars are not for sale, growing interest from top European sides has placed some of Newcastle’s biggest names under serious transfer pressure.

Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase for Newcastle captain Bruno Guimarães, with negotiations expected to intensify in the coming weeks.

An initial informal offer believed to be around £55 million was rejected through intermediaries. However, Arsenal are now preparing a stronger formal bid that could reach approximately £80 million.
