The player at the centre of the interest is Tino Livramento, who has become one of the most exciting young full-backs in English football since arriving at St James’ Park. His pace, versatility, technical quality and defensive maturity have made him a crucial member of Howe’s squad.
For Newcastle, the message remains simple: Livramento is not for sale unless an extraordinary offer arrives. Unless either Arsenal or Manchester City decide to break the market and meet Newcastle’s demands, the England international appears set to remain an important part of the club’s future.
