The Foxes have now suffered three relegations in four years, leading many fans to question the club’s leadership and demand major changes behind the scenes.
Supporters have also repeatedly called for the departure of director of football Jon Rudkin alongside concerns over the ownership.
However, recent developments suggest the Srivaddhanaprabha family intentions about the Midland club as they don’t want to see the club fall into ruins.
After Leicester’s relegation to League One, Khun Top reportedly held discussions with disappointed supporters to explain the club’s current situation and future plans.
The overall message from those conversations strongly suggested that the owner intends to stay and continue leading the club through this difficult period.
Khun Top has previously spoken openly about his emotional connection to Leicester City following the tragic death of his father, former chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, in the helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium in 2018. Since then, he has continued to back the club financially while trying to guide Leicester back to stability.
According to reports from talkSPORT, there have been approaches from interested parties looking to buy Leicester City in recent years. However, those enquiries were either ignored or rejected by the current ownership.
The report stated:
> “It’s been suggested to talkSPORT that at least two interested parties have made enquiries about the club’s availability in recent years, but those approaches have either been rebuffed or ignored.”
That revelation is being seen by many supporters as the strongest sign yet that the Srivaddhanaprabha family have no intention of walking away from Leicester City despite the club’s recent struggles.
