DISGRACEFUL – Fans DEMAND Changes This Players Struggle Again in SHOCK Draw vs Sheffield Wednesday

Leicester City’s fight to stay in the Championship took another hit on April 6, 2026, after they drew 1-1 with already relegated Sheffield Wednesday  and fans are now blaming first team regulars.

Many supporters were angry after the match and pointed at the midfield pair as a big reason Leicester didn’t win. Against the worst team in the league, fans expected much more.

Sheffield Wednesday started the game better and scored first in the first half. Even though they’ve already been relegated, they played with more energy and hunger than Leicester.

Leicester had more of the ball at times, but they didn’t do much with it. Fans feel Skipp and Winks slow the game down and don’t create enough chances going forward.

One frustrated fan said:

“We should have won the last three games. That’s six points dropped. If Rowett doesn’t drop these two, we’re going down. You just can’t play Skipp and Winks together.”

In the second half, Leicester tried to improve and push forward. They finally got their goal late on, when Jordan Ayew scored to make it 1-1 after a good team move.

But even with that goal, it still felt like a bad result. Leicester had chances to win, but couldn’t take them. Dropping points against a relegated team is a big problem.

Now, manager Gary Rowett is also under pressure. Fans are questioning why he keeps playing Skipp and Winks together when it clearly isn’t working.

Leicester have now dropped six important points in their last three matches. That’s why fans are worried. If things don’t change quickly, the club could be heading for another relegation  this time to League One.

For a team that won the Premier League and FA Cup not long ago, this is a shocking situation.
