Tottenham Hotspur’s inconsistent start to the Premier League season continued with a 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, marking their fourth loss in just nine matches so far.

Postecoglou, who joined Spurs after a successful tenure at Celtic, has struggled to replicate that form in England.

In the post-match press, Postecoglou confronted an interviewer who admitted he his not satisfied with the current situations in the club “Why would I be happy?” He further admitted that his side lacked the fighting spirit displayed by Palace and added that the fans had every reason to be dissatisfied. Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario voiced these concerns, stating:

“We play good football but maybe sometimes we lack the desire to fight.”
