Dibling has started just four Premier League matches this season and has played only one minute of league football since the start of February.
David Moyes is expected to remain patient with the 20-year-old, who showed plenty of promise during his breakthrough season at Southampton.
However, there is an increasing feeling that Everton’s transfer chiefs may be starting to question whether the move came too early.

Former Manchester United FC chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider earlier this year that Dibling could look for a way out of Everton — and it is not difficult to understand why.
Although the youngster has struggled to impress consistently, Moyes has handed him just 520 minutes across all competitions this season.
Only three times has Dibling played more than 60 minutes in a match, with many of his appearances lasting only a few minutes from the bench.
For a young player trying to develop confidence and rhythm, it raises questions about how he is expected to build momentum in such limited opportunities.
Moyes would argue that Dibling is not yet part of Everton’s strongest starting XI — and that would be a fair assessment.
With the summer transfer window approaching, both Everton and the player may need to find a solution that benefits his development.
A loan move currently appears the most likely option, although it remains unclear what level Everton would consider suitable for him.
What has David Moyes said about Dibling?
With Everton expected to strengthen their attacking options this summer — including reported interest in Jack Grealish — it may become increasingly difficult to convince Dibling to remain at the club.
This season could already be viewed as a lost year in terms of his development, and another similar campaign would be a major risk for the young winger.
However, Moyes has publicly backed the player to improve.
